PIES (short for Product Information Exchange Standard) is an industry data (XML) format maintained by the AAIA (Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association). It's used to help manufacturers of automotive parts & accessories to tell people like us & retailers all of the various attributes of products they manufacture.
ACES (short for Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard) is an industry data (XML) format maintained by the AAIA (Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association). It's used to describe north american automotive part applications.
There have been multiple "versions" of each of the standards produced. In order to verify compliance with any specific ACES or PIES standard, we've created this free tool that will verify & help identify any technical incompatibilities with Manufacturer data files. As of this launch, we support PIES 6.3/6.4/6.5 and ACES 3.0.1.
